"Collapse is a certainty"
So who wants to wait around for that? Seriously! NOT ME.
very interesting video from futurist james burke.

he believes scarcity will be a thing of the past because of nanofabricators (sounds like a replicator for star trek fans).

I'm middle-aged. And I think about it every day, every hour. I just don't have a good plan. And the crisis lines are frequently dialed.

Totally ADD, same question for you then as I had for slim.
If you see the complete collapse and breakdown of civilization as a very real, even likely, possibility, then why not commit suey?
If all of the sudden, you were transported back to 1912 and you found yourself on the Titanic, and you KNEW what was going to happen and there was nothing you could do about it, what would you do? Wouldn't it make sense to just try to get ahold of a gun and make it as quick and easy as possible?

Got anything more than that? Really struggling here lately...feeling like, I don't wanna stick around to see how things play out.

either humanity will detroy itself
How do you find the will to go on living when this (seemingly very real) possibility hangs over our heads? I die a thousand times a day worrying about what the next 2-3 decades holds for us. I just see collapse, and more collapse.
i recently broke up with my girlfriend of four years.. she is 40 years old, with health problems, financial problems, little family/friend support, and facing an uncertain future.
i gave her some money.. the guilt i am experiencing right now is absolutely anguishing.
she had very, very high hopes about our relationship and loved me very deeply.
Caliber, interesting info. So what do I do?

I wish I could find a workable way to be her friend and offer some support without getting sucked in to crazy-town.

i wake up every day at 3am and spend the next 3 hours worrying about her.
Everyone is like 'fpoo, she'll be all right!' to which I respond, ok but what if she's not and won't be?
When people tell me that I'm not responsible for her , it doesn't even register.
i never knew I had all these codependency issues. I'll say it again for the umpteenth time: I feel like I have to go back to her and rescue her from her lonely, sad life. She's just so lost in the world without me and I think there's a possibility of her taking her own life.

My worst case scenario of the day: she will be bankrupted by medical bills.
must.save.her.
watchin the season premier of south park, something i don't normally do but just happened to catch and glad i did.
they totally had two jw women go to one of the characters "butters" house and gave him a magazine about some sort of destruction scene that was on the cover representing armageddon.
yet again showing that the ancient pagen name of hovah they worship really does live up to the name defined as ruin according to strongs 1943. wife and i laughed our butts off... even the world knows how the "wbtsociety" is so fear focused on destruction rather than the real love that our savior said should be our true walk and focus... .
the ep is up on the official SP website: http://www.southparkstudios.com/
